Standards for Sustainability through UL Environment

UL Environment develops environmental and sustainability standards for a wide range of building products, consumer products and organizations. Standards for Sustainability are created through a collaborative process that takes a holistic approach to standards development. Standards Technical Panels (STPs) help in the development and review of UL's Standards for Sustainability. An STP is a balanced group representing a cross-section of the stakeholders affected by a product's manufacture, sale and use. Current versions of the requirements are available to the public (along with test protocols) through For more on the UL's Standards for Sustainability, visit UL Environment Standards.
